Victorville 2025: What’s New for the Coming Year

According to the Victorville Daily Press (Jan. 1, 2025), Victorville is poised for a strong year of growth in 2025, with new retail, industrial development, infrastructure upgrades, and public facility investments underway.

Retail & Dining: New arrivals include Five Below and Raising Cane’s.

Public Facilities: A major expansion of the Victorville City Library is underway at the Green Tree Golf Course clubhouse. The new library—twice the size of the current facility—will feature expanded children’s areas, meeting rooms, and a makerspace, with completion expected in December 2025 and opening in January 2026.

Industrial & Logistics: Development continues at the Southern California Logistics Airport with a 1.3-million-sq-ft Goodyear Tire warehouse

opening in early 2025. Additional projects include a 1.1-million-sq-ft Covington Group warehouse (part of a planned 2-million-sq-ft complex) and the Mojave Drive Industrial Center, featuring three distribution buildings totaling 1.35 million square feet.

Infrastructure: Water and sewer improvements include a new 1-million-gallon recycled water tank at SCLA, a 24-inch water main extension along Amethyst Road, and Phase 3 of the Sewer Lining Project adding 23,000 linear feet of lining to extend system life by more than 50 years.
