Highway 395 Widening Project Moves Forward
According to the Victorville Daily Press dated March 24, 2025, the HWY 395 widening project is moving forward.
- Phase 2 Construction: Seven-mile stretch between Interstate 15 and State Route 18/Palmdale Road
- Improvements Include: Widening from two to four lanes, raised median installation, and turning lanes
- Highway 395 is a Priority Interregional Highway, critical for goods movement and linking inland counties to the Central Valley
- Handles approximately 30,000 vehicles daily, including 17% trucks, nearly double the volume of southern segments
- Supports local economies and the agricultural supply chain
