Hesperia Planning Board Approves 114-Unit Affordable Senior Housing Complex

It includes a 55-year affordability covenant, ensuring long-term support for lower-income seniors. Some community members expressed concerns, particularly about the lack of in-unit laundry facilities, but the commission ultimately proceeded with the approval. Environmental clearances were obtained, and the developer plans to break ground soon, contributing to the local affordable housing inventory.
