According to Victor Valley News Group dated October 16, 2025, the Victorville Planning Commission has approved a 30-acre, Target-anchored expansion at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road, part of the larger 100-acre Desert Plazas development.
Phase 2 highlights (311,500 sq. ft.):
- 148,900 ft. Target store (anchor)
- Three major retail spaces & four pad shops
- Restaurants with drive-thrus
- Chase Bank with drive-thru
- 7-Eleven fuel station + convenience store
- Carwash
The expansion follows Phase 1 (Home Depot + pad buildings/restaurants) and complements nearby Desert Oasis Plaza and Desert Sun Plaza developments, bringing more shopping, dining, and services to Victorville.
