Projections For Super Wal-Mart To Be Complete Early 2017
The announcement of the finalization of the plans for the Barstow Super Wal-Mart is ground breaking! The Barstow Super Wal-Mart will emerge on Montara Road and East Main Street with a 200,000 square foot superstore. With 28 acres of land, there will be enough space for approximately five additional commercial parcels to be built near the Super Wal-Mart. The Super Wal-Mart alone is expected to bring up to 100 jobs to Barstow workers, and the additional commercial parcels will bring an additional 100 to 200 jobs.
While the ground breaking date has not yet been set, plans are being finalized and Barstow residents and those traveling to and through the region will be able to take advantage of the Barstow Super Wal-Mart.
