Oggi’s Pizza and Brewing comes to Barstow at former Baja Fresh site.
The start of the new year will mark the start of a new business in Barstow. Oggi’s Pizza and Brewing has been working on securing a space in the city, and is projected to open its doors in January 2016.
The restaurant and microbrewery will take over the space formerly occupied by Baja Fresh on Lenwood Road. This location is conveniently situated right off Interstate 15 in the middle of a bustling retail area. Oggi’s can anticipate drawing diners from the nearby Lenwood Outlet Mall. The building, built in 2003, is 4,230 square feet and will be host to Oggi’s second location in the High Desert. The chain is based out of San Clemente and gives their restaurants a sports theme.
Paperwork was officially signed to move this project forward on September 2nd. A Maxim Restaurants MCJ representative, the vice president of Lee and Associates Inland Empire North, and a building owner representative were all involved in finalizing the paperwork on that date. The new owners, Veronica and Christopher Guardado, have been interested in this building for a while and are reportedly enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring a new restaurant to the Barstow community.
