The city of Adelanto in San Bernardino County will be welcoming new discount stores to the neighborhood shortly! The two discount retailers moving to the neighborhood are Family Dollar and Dollar General.
The City Manager, Jim Hart, has expressed his excitement for the emergence of these two low-price retailers. While many are critical about the project taking three years to complete, Hart explains that these types of developments simply take time.
You can find The Family Dollar, built by Boos Development, at the corner of Bartlett Avenue and Delicious Street. Although it is still in the construction phase of the project, the Dollar General will be opening east of Jonathan Street on the Northside of Air Expressway.
These establishments are expected to bring much-needed products and services to the community and benefit the city as a whole. Successful establishments in the area will allow other businesses to feel confident bringing their own establishments to the community.
With Family Dollar expected to hold its grand opening soon and the construction of Dollar General well on its way, the city of Adelanto can start taking advantage of these low-price retailers!
