Traffic Signal Coming to Intersection on Mariposa Road in Victorville
As stated in an article in the Victorville Daily Press, August 2, 2021, a new traffic signal is being installed on a busy roadway that runs parallel to Interstate 15 and connects Seventh Street to Bear Valley Road in Victorville. The traffic signal will be at the T-intersection of Mariposa and Yates roads. The total construction cost for the traffic signal is $418,549. The project was funded through the city’s current fiscal year budget, specifically the city’s street light assessment district fund and through Measure I, the half-cent sales tax collected throughout San Bernardino County for transportation improvements.
